Private forestry stakeholders organized an exposure visit for the Ministry of Finance Taskforce for tax reforms, towards understanding the role of commercial forestry in competitiveness-led export growth as part of the Tanzania five-year development plan.
Anthony Finch lead the team that did the feasibility study on the possibility of establishing teak plantantions in the Kilombero valley in 1991.
His report led to the founding of KVTC in 1992, and He also became the first forester at KVTC.
Now retired, in this documentary he goes down memory Lane sharing his experience and how he sees commercial forestry in Tanzania.
